ELM? - Budapesti Elektromos M?vek (Budapest Electric Works) has been operating for over a century. The Company was founded in the era of the Austro-Hungarian Monarchy and having survived two world wars and several political changes continues its original activity: supplying electric power to various consumers.
 
The current period in the life of the Company started in 1995 and is characterized by the fact that the majority of the shares are held by a foreign strategic investor.
