The Canadian gold explorer, focused on its projects in Quebec, aims to closely tie the interests of its executives and directors to the company's long-term performance. This initiative comes at a pivotal moment, with significant project milestones for the Douay and Joutel assets on the near-term horizon.

Equity Incentives Designed for Long-Term Commitment

The company's Board of Directors has approved the issuance of several share-based awards following its annual compensation review. The primary objective is to align the goals of management, directors, and employees with those of the shareholders. The compensation package is structured across three distinct incentive vehicles:

• 895,000 stock options, each with an exercise price of CAD $2.40.
• 580,000 Restricted Share Units (RSUs), which vest over a 36-month period.
• More than 108,000 Deferred Share Units (DSUs) for directors and certain employees.

The stock options are subject to a graded vesting schedule over 12 and 24 months and carry a five-year term. This framework is intended to ensure that the leadership remains committed through the upcoming phases of exploration and development.

Operational Progress Sets Stage for 2026 Resource Estimate

As Maple Gold solidifies its internal structure, field work in Quebec's prolific Abitibi region continues to advance. Recent drilling at the Joutel project, specifically within the Telbel mine area, has yielded high-grade intercepts. One notable result reported 17.9 grams of gold per tonne over 3.9 meters.

These technical achievements are building the foundation for the Joutel project's inaugural mineral resource estimate. The company has scheduled the release of this crucial data for the first half of 2026. With a market capitalization of approximately CAD $168 million, the successful execution of on-the-ground operations remains the central driver for future market valuation.
