The firm raised its rating on the stock from "Neutral" to "Buy," simultaneously setting a price target of 90.00 euros. The market response was immediate, with the stock advancing approximately 4.7 percent in a single session, ranking it among the top performers on Germany's TecDAX index.

Sector-Wide Tailwinds Provide Support

This upgrade arrives amid a favorable climate for European defense equities. A sustained debate across the continent regarding increased military spending is generating positive sentiment for the entire sector. This broader trend was evident on the same day, with industry peer Rheinmetall also closing in positive territory.

Further bolstering confidence are consolidation efforts within the European aerospace and defense industry. A notable example is the consortium formed by Airbus, Rheinmetall, and OHB to bid for a major German space project.
