Pacific Edge is positioning its Cxbladder business for a potential recovery in the United States, although the company still awaits a decisive Medicare coverage outcome. In an NZX announcement released on October 18, 2026, the company outlined proposed price increases, new payer access and progress with Triage Plus.

US access improves amid volume pressure

Proposed 2027 Medicare prices would lift Cxbladder Monitor from US$760 to US$1,026 and Cxbladder Triage from US$760 to US$1,058, subject to finalization by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services on January 1, 2027. Pacific Edge said final Medicare coverage remains the critical near-term milestone and is expected by the end of calendar year 2026.

Cxbladder also gained in-network coverage at Blue Cross plans in North and South Carolina from November 1, 2026. The plans cover nearly 8 million people. In addition, Triage Plus received a funding allocation within the US Veterans Administration through the company's first facility-level Blanket Purchase Agreement in that system.

Recovery still depends on reimbursement

The operating picture remains mixed. US commercial test volumes fell 13.0 percent to 2,867 in the second quarter of fiscal 2027 as Pacific Edge reduced commercial spending and focused on reimbursable intermediate-risk patients. Asia-Pacific commercial volumes increased 3.7 percent to 1,201.

Triage Plus accounted for 5.6 percent of US tests in the quarter and 10.8 percent in September, up from 0.8 percent in the first quarter. Pacific Edge also said it had achieved its enrolment target of about 2,000 patients for a Triage Plus concordance study at Kaiser Permanente Southern California. The results could support further adoption, but the commercial impact remains tied to coverage and paid testing volumes.
