Leadership changes at UnitedHealthcare
Robert Hunter is set to become president of UnitedHealthcare, UnitedHealth Group’s insurance division, according to a September 28 report by Reuters. Hunter previously served as the company’s chief executive for government programs and held the top role at UnitedHealthcare’s Medicare and retirement segment. Tim Noel will continue as UnitedHealthcare’s chief executive, Reuters reported, citing confirmation from the company.
Hunter said his focus in the new role would be accelerating UnitedHealthcare’s modernization agenda toward a healthcare system that is more connected, easier to navigate and simpler to understand, Reuters reported.
New enterprise administration role
UnitedHealth Group said in a September 24 release that Jodee Kozlak would join as chief administrative officer effective September 28. The newly created role covers an initial portfolio including People, Real Estate, Procurement and Corporate Security, and is intended to support enterprise modernization and alignment across the company’s businesses, people and partners.
UnitedHealth Group identifies itself in the release as a healthcare and well-being company operating through UnitedHealthcare and Optum.
