IMI stock after-hours: IMI secures US$3 million valve contract

IMI has secured a contract worth more than US$3 million to supply valve technologies for the 1.5 GW Franklin Farms Power Station in Louisiana, according to an IMI company announcement published September 21, 2026.
Valve systems for Louisiana power project
IMI will supply a turbine bypass system, attemperators and a control valve package for the combined-cycle power station. The project is being delivered by EPC contractor Kiewit Corp. and comprises two combined-cycle units.
IMI said the Franklin Farms station is being developed to support growing data-center power demand in the United States. The company is currently supporting detailed engineering activities, with deliveries scheduled in line with the plant’s construction program.
Project supports power-generation business
The supplied systems are intended to support plant responsiveness, safety and efficiency. IMI said the project builds on its experience supporting combined-cycle power projects across North America.
