Victrex raises guidance
In its September 9 announcement, Victrex said strong momentum continued into the fourth quarter of its 2026 financial year. Year-over-year growth was driven by aerospace, value-added resellers and electronics, with growth across all regions and particularly strong growth in Asia Pacific, the company said in the RNS release.
The company also said it had completed a previously announced 10 percent headcount reduction, with initial benefits contributing to at least GBP 10 million of annualized savings expected from its wider profit improvement plan in 2027. Victrex additionally announced that Chris Gilbert joined as group interim chief financial officer on September 1, 2026. The company said he will not be appointed as a director or join its board.
