- Third-quarter revenue growth accelerated to 5.0 percent at constant scope and exchange rates, excluding energy prices.
- Nine-month revenue reached 33.31 billion euros, while EBITDA rose 5.1 percent to 5.404 billion euros.
- Veolia confirmed its 2026 targets, including organic EBITDA growth of 5 percent to 6 percent.
Veolia reported stronger momentum in the third quarter on Thursday, November 5, 2026, as revenue growth accelerated and the environmental-services group confirmed its full-year targets. The figures were published in the company's nine-month 2026 key figures.
Revenue increased 5.0 percent in the third quarter at constant scope and exchange rates, excluding energy prices. Veolia said international operations and water activities were the main drivers of the acceleration, strengthening the investment case for businesses exposed to water security, resource management and essential environmental services.
International Operations Lead Acceleration
For the first nine months, revenue reached 33.310 billion euros, up 2.6 percent under the company's constant-scope and foreign-exchange measure excluding energy prices. EBITDA rose 5.1 percent to 5.404 billion euros, while current EBIT increased 6.7 percent to 2.950 billion euros. The EBITDA margin improved by 50 basis points to 16.2 percent.
Growth was strongest in Latin America, where revenue rose 10.9 percent at constant scope and exchange rates to 1.589 billion euros. North America increased 4.8 percent to 2.680 billion euros, while Northern Europe grew 5.1 percent to 3.303 billion euros. Water Technologies revenue declined 2.5 percent, although the company said growth excluding projects was 2.6 percent.
The regional mix highlights both the opportunity and the execution risk for investors. International markets are providing momentum, but individual activities remain exposed to project timing, geopolitical conditions and changes in energy prices. Veolia's recurring efficiency plans supported the margin improvement alongside organic growth.
Veolia Keeps 2026 Objectives
Chief Executive Officer Estelle Brachlianoff said the results reflected Veolia's positioning around critical needs such as water access and resource sovereignty. She also pointed to the successful start of the Clean Earth integration and the ongoing shift of the portfolio toward international and technology activities.
Veolia confirmed its 2026 guidance, including organic EBITDA growth of 5 percent to 6 percent and growth of at least 8 percent in current net income attributable to the group at constant exchange rates, including Clean Earth. The company also expects net debt to EBITDA to be equal to or slightly above three times and intends to increase the dividend in line with current net income per share.
The group said 570 million euros of disposals had already been signed under its plan targeting more than 2 billion euros, at an average multiple of 10.4 times EBITDA. The next scheduled corporate event is the Asia Thema Event from December 1 to 3, followed by full-year 2026 results on February 17, 2027.
