Ecovacs DEEBOT X2 OMNI is a robot vacuum and mop with a squared front, rotating mop pads, and an all-in-one station. The US model combines 8,000Pa suction, 15mm mop lifting, and 6,400mAh battery capacity.
Square Robot With Dual-Laser LiDAR
The black X2 OMNI measures 320 by 353 by 95mm, while the station measures 394 by 443 by 527.5mm. Its semi-solid-state LiDAR, RGBD obstacle avoidance, and AIVI 3D 2.0 system support mapping and object detection.
The robot carries a 0.42-liter dust box and a 180ml onboard water tank. The station has a 4-liter clean-water tank, a 3.5-liter dirty-water tank, and a 3-liter dust bag.
Hot Water Washing And Mop Lift
OZMO Turbo 2.0 uses rotating mop pads, and the robot can lift them 15mm when it detects carpet. The station washes the pads with water heated to 140 degrees Fahrenheit, then dries them with a selectable 2-hour, 3-hour, or 4-hour cycle.
Ecovacs rates the X2 OMNI for up to 212 minutes of vacuum-only cleaning on hard floors in silent mode. Combined vacuuming and mopping is rated at up to 143 minutes in standard mode, while the robot's standard-mode noise rating is 64.9dB.
PCMag listed the US launch price at $1,499.99 and compared its 8,000Pa suction with the X1 Omni's 5,000Pa rating. The review also recorded a 0.6-inch mop lift and found that the X2's base supports automatic emptying, hot-water pad washing, and hot-air drying.
Compared With The X1 Omni
The X2 OMNI raises stated suction from 5,000Pa in the X1 Omni to 8,000Pa. It also adds automatic mop lifting, whereas the X1 requires the mop plates to be removed for carpet-focused vacuuming.
PCMag measured the X2 at 3.74 inches tall and 12.6 inches across, compared with the X1 at 4.1 inches tall and 14.3 inches across. The X2 therefore fits beneath lower furniture than its predecessor, although its station still requires substantial floor space.
Best Fit And Clear Limits
The X2 OMNI fits households seeking automated vacuuming, mopping, dust emptying, pad washing, and pad drying in one system. Its 8,000Pa suction, rotating pads, mapping hardware, and 6,400mAh battery give it a premium specification set.
The mop lift is not fully retractable, so the pads can still brush low-pile carpet. Independent testing also recorded occasional problems with rugs and furniture. The model is strongest on homes with hard floors, defined rooms, and enough space for its large station.
