The Bund in Shanghai hosts the Super Bund Music Carnival from 19 October 2026 to 25 October 2026. The event returns to Yuanmingyuan Road as a multi-area music and entertainment experience connected with the historic waterfront district.
Super Bund Music Carnival runs from 19 to 25 October
The festival is listed for seven days, from 19 October 2026 until 25 October 2026, with YiFeng Galleria given as the venue. Its programme brings different styles of music together across the Bund area, with the event described as a multi-area experience rather than a single indoor performance.
The date and venue are recorded in the Super Bund Music Carnival listing. Yuanmingyuan Road gives the festival a direct link to the historic street network around the waterfront, while YiFeng Galleria provides the named venue for the programme.
The Bund links a music festival to historic Shanghai
The Bund is a 1.5-kilometre waterfront area and a protected historical district in central Shanghai. The Huangpu River lies to its east, while 52 Gothic and Baroque-style buildings stand to the west.
Those buildings once housed financial institutions and trading companies, and the district is now presented as an outdoor museum of international architecture. The Super Bund Music Carnival therefore places a contemporary music programme beside a preserved architectural setting, rather than in a detached festival ground. These details are confirmed by the Shanghai government profile of The Bund.
