Petronas Twin Towers hosts Jaclyn Victor Gemilang Bersama MPO in Kuala Lumpur on 17 October 2026, bringing the Malaysian singer and the Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra to Dewan Filharmonik PETRONAS. The concert places a live music programme inside Level Two of Tower Two, the same complex as the landmark's visitor experience.
Jaclyn Victor concert comes to the towers on 17 October
The Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra has scheduled the concert for Saturday, 17 October 2026, at 8pm. Jaclyn Victor will perform with the orchestra under conductor Ahmad Muriz Che Rose, according to the MPO programme listing.
The organiser describes the evening as a meeting of orchestral arrangements and contemporary Malaysian music. It also presents the performance as part of Victor's two-decade musical journey, while naming her as the vocalist and Che Rose as conductor. The programme is therefore tied to the building through a specific cultural event rather than a general city concert.
The concert hall occupies Tower Two of the landmark
Dewan Filharmonik PETRONAS is listed at Level Two of Tower Two, within the Petronas Twin Towers complex in Kuala Lumpur City Centre. This places the 17 October concert inside one of the landmark's own towers, not merely at a nearby venue.
The official tower history records a height of 451.9 metres and 88 storeys. Planning began in January 1992 under architect Cesar Pelli and other members of the design team, construction of the steel and glass structure was completed in June 1996, and the official opening is listed for January 1997 in the official tower history. The event's setting adds a performance space to a building better known for its Skybridge and observation deck.
What the October programme means for a tower visit
The concert and the tower tour are distinct experiences within the same address. Visitors attending the performance will find the named hall on Level Two of Tower Two, while the official tower account places the Skybridge at Level 41 and the observation deck at Level 86.
That vertical arrangement gives the October programme a clear link to the landmark: the audience enters a concert venue embedded in the lower levels of one tower, while the recognised viewing attractions occupy much higher parts of the structure. The building's architecture and the orchestra's programme consequently meet at a precise internal location.
