- MAX POWER runs at the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex from 6 to 8 November 2026.

Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex will host MAX POWER from 6 to 8 November 2026 in Merritt Island, Florida, bringing aerospace displays, presentations and public activities to the visitor complex. The NASA-backed programme links the venue's collection of spaceflight exhibits with a weekend focused on aircraft, spacecraft and emerging technologies.
MAX POWER brings a three-day programme to Merritt Island
The event begins on Friday, 6 November 2026, with a programme at the visitor complex that includes a meet-and-greet with the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds, presentations about lunar habitats and space partnerships, and hands-on science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics activities. The official MAX POWER programme also lists Gravity Industries at the Atlantis North Lawn and an American space art and artefacts display in Space Shuttle Atlantis and the Heroes and Legends Conference Facility.
On Saturday, 7 November 2026, NASA Central is scheduled to host the MAX POWER Parade at 3.30pm. The listed procession includes NASA astronauts, rover models, the WeFlip team and a marching band. Sunday, 8 November 2026, repeats the parade and adds presentations including From Shuttle to Artemis and a session with NASA astronaut Woody Hoburg.
Space Shuttle Atlantis connects the programme with exploration history
The venue's Space Shuttle Atlantis display gives MAX POWER a setting that combines a flown spacecraft with current aerospace themes. The official programme places NASA activities, model rockets, spacecraft displays and the American space art and artefacts exhibition in and around Atlantis, while partner activations are also planned for Rocket Garden, NASA Central and Gateway: The Deep Space Launch Complex.
The wider visitor complex is a 70-acre facility managed for NASA by Delaware North Parks and Resorts since 1995. Its Apollo/Saturn V Center contains a 363-foot (111-metre) Saturn V rocket, one of three Saturn V rockets in existence, according to the NASA visitor complex fact sheet. That historic hardware and the weekend's technology demonstrations place MAX POWER between the site’s lunar-era collection and its presentation of future missions.
MAX POWER opens areas beyond the regular visitor displays
NASA describes the wider MAX POWER programme as a public exposition taking place on and near the space centre on 7 and 8 November 2026. Its announced locations include the Apollo Saturn V facility and the Launch and Landing Facility, while the adjacent visitor complex carries the Friday programme and its own weekend schedule.
For travellers, the practical distinction is important: the visitor-complex programme is not limited to a single hall. Displays are scheduled at Space Shuttle Atlantis, Heroes and Legends, Gateway, Rocket Garden, NASA Central and the Journey To Mars area, so the event connects several named parts of the site.
