The Strokes headline Primavera Sound Fauna in Santiago, Chile, on 27 November 2026, bringing the Reality Awaits touring cycle to a Chilean festival date. The appearance is part of the band’s continuing 2026 run around its seventh studio album.
Primavera Sound Fauna gives The Strokes a Santiago headline set
The dated tour schedule lists The Strokes at Primavera Sound Fauna in Santiago on 27 November 2026. The same schedule identifies headline sets at Primavera Sound in Santiago, Buenos Aires and São Paulo.
The route also includes Lima on 20 November and Mexico City on 22 November. Buenos Aires follows on 29 November, with Bogotá on 2 December and São Paulo on 5 December.
These dates keep the Chilean festival appearance within a South American sequence rather than presenting it as an isolated booking.
Reality Awaits links the festival date to the latest album
Reality Awaits is The Strokes’ seventh studio album, released through Cult Records and RCA Records. It was recorded in Costa Rica with producer Rick Rubin and follows The New Abnormal as the band’s first new music since that album.
The album announcement describes a nine-track programme including Going Shopping, Falling out of Love and Tyrants of the Mellow Moon. That link between the newest full-length and the Santiago booking gives the festival appearance a clear place in the group’s present live cycle.
The Strokes extend their album campaign across South America
The Strokes are a New York rock band, while the Chilean booking extends the album campaign into a festival setting. Their announced routing moves between arena concerts, standalone dates and festival appearances across several countries.
On the festival side, the schedule names Primavera Sound in Santiago, Buenos Aires and São Paulo, while the standalone list includes Lima and Bogotá. That structure places Santiago between the Lima and Mexico City dates before the later Buenos Aires, Bogotá and São Paulo appearances.
