The Rolling Stones released the Mr Charm video and its accompanying single on 1 October 2026, adding an additional new song, Bad Luck Hideaway.
Universal Music Canada identifies the release as part of the Foreign Tongues album campaign and names Polydor Records and Universal Music. The single arrived on streaming services with the previously unavailable track, while a lyric video for it was also released on 1 October 2026.
Bad Luck Hideaway arrives alongside the video
The 1 October release combines a visual premiere with a two-song digital package. The arrangement links the album campaign to a track that had not previously appeared on streaming platforms.
Henry Scholfield directed the video, which was filmed in Palmdale, California. Alexander Skarsgård stars in the visual, while the accompanying song is credited to Mick Jagger and Keith Richards.
The Rolling Stones connect video craft with studio work
Bad Luck Hideaway also features drums by Charlie Watts recorded during sessions at British Grove. Andrew Watt produced the track and worked on Foreign Tongues and Hackney Diamonds.
The official announcement names Jagger, Richards and Ronnie Wood in connection with the album’s recording at Metropolis Studios in West London. That studio link places the new single within the group’s wider album production rather than presenting it as an unrelated release.
The combination of a directed video, a previously unavailable song and established studio collaborators gives the 1 October release several connected elements. The visual and the streaming track arrived together, while each has a distinct role in the album campaign.
Hackney Diamonds returns in a two-LP anniversary edition
A separate physical release expands the group’s catalogue with a special edition of Hackney Diamonds. The edition is scheduled for 6 December 2026, as detailed by Hackney Diamonds edition details.
The two-LP package includes the studio album, live recordings from the Racket launch in New York and a photo booklet. Its listed material includes Sweet Sounds of Heaven with Lady Gaga, alongside Shattered, Tumbling Dice and Jumpin’ Jack Flash.
The two dates separate the digital single from the later physical edition. On 1 October 2026, the focus was Mr Charm and Bad Luck Hideaway; on 6 December 2026, the emphasis is on the expanded album format.
