The Chainsmokers headline Sunburn Festival at Mahalaxmi Racecourse in Mumbai on 18 December 2026. The two-day event continues through 19 December at the same venue.
Sunburn Festival places The Chainsmokers on Mumbai’s opening day
Sunburn’s official event listing places the festival at Mahalaxmi Racecourse and names Spacebound as its organiser. It sets the programme across 18 and 19 December 2026, with the Mumbai venue listed as Mahalaxmi Race Course in the details. The page identifies the event as a festival and features Sunburn Arena with The Chainsmokers.
NDTV Profit identifies The Chainsmokers as headliners for the opening day on 18 December 2026. That places the duo on the first day of a two-day electronic programme, with the second day scheduled for 19 December 2026. The same venue hosts both listed festival dates.
The Chainsmokers bring EDM-pop to Mumbai
The New York duo consists of Alex Pall and Drew Taggart, who work as DJs and producers. An AllMusic biography places their sound across EDM, club/dance and pop. That combination links their vocal-led songs with the electronic setting of Sunburn Festival in Mumbai.
Songs including Closer, Don’t Let Me Down and Something Just Like This show the crossover in their recorded work. Their catalogue also includes the debut album Memories...Do Not Open and later full-length releases. The Mumbai booking connects a festival appearance with the duo’s established blend of dance production and pop songwriting.
Mahalaxmi Racecourse frames the two-day festival
The festival’s Mumbai edition uses the Mahalaxmi Race Course site on Keshavrao Khadye Marg. Spacebound appears as organiser, while the event page describes a global electronic line-up. The Chainsmokers’ billing sits within that electronic programme rather than as a separate club booking. Their 18 December 2026 appearance is tied to the festival’s opening day.
