System of a Down will release Toxicity (25th Anniversary) on 20 November 2026, marking the album’s 25th anniversary with a special edition. The edition revisits the album with revised packaging and an updated closing-track credit.
Toxicity anniversary edition arrives on 20 November
The CD version is scheduled for 20 November 2026. Sony Music Canada’s store lists the CD release date and identifies the edition as a Sony Music release.
The listing describes new cover art and an updated 24-page booklet created for the anniversary. Gekirock’s release notice details the anniversary edition and presents it as a worldwide release. It also identifies the format as a special edition CD.
System of a Down place the reissue in their catalogue
The package contains the album’s 15-song sequence, beginning with Prison Song and ending with Der Voghormia. Other listed songs include Needles, Chop Suey!, Toxicity, Psycho and Aerials.
By retaining the full sequence while changing the packaging, the edition connects an established System of a Down album with its 25th anniversary. The CD’s new artwork and booklet add archival presentation without altering the listed songs.
The anniversary package expands Toxicity’s physical editions
Alongside the CD, the anniversary programme includes vinyl. German music magazine Visions describes the vinyl reissue as the original album with revised cover art and a bonus 7-inch single of Johnny. That format expands the physical edition while preserving the album’s core track sequence.
Together, the editions give the 20 November release distinct physical versions.
