Staind release the single Ghosts on 14 October 2026, giving the band a new song from its forthcoming ninth studio album. The release falls during the group’s Break The Cycle 25th Anniversary Tour, which is also dated for Albuquerque that day.
Staind’s Ghosts is the first single from ninth album
The track is presented as a lead single from the next full-length record. The announcement links it to an album whose recording was largely completed in spring 2026.
The PRP calls Ghosts a first single from the forthcoming ninth studio album. Chaoszine dates Ghosts for 14 October, describing it as a lead single and naming the same-day Albuquerque appearance.
Staind’s 1995 formation and Springfield roots
Staind are an alternative-metal band formed in Springfield, Massachusetts, in 1995. An account of Staind’s 1995 formation places the group in its Massachusetts hometown from the beginning.
Break The Cycle was the band’s third studio album, and its 25th anniversary supplies the name for the current touring cycle. That album connection places Ghosts alongside a work that remains central to the group’s live identity.
Staind’s tour pairs Ghosts with Albuquerque date
Staind play Isleta Amphitheater in Albuquerque, New Mexico, on 14 October 2026, the same date as the single release. The venue appears in the announcement’s list of dates for the North American anniversary tour.
The shared date connects the new recording with the band’s live programme without turning the concert into the release itself. Ghosts remains the day’s specifically dated new work.
