Pick You Up arrives as a seven-track set
Country.de confirms the 9 October release of Pick You Up, which contains seven new songs. The album appeared through Old Green Barn Productions LLC.
Billboard describes the collection as recorded at Crow’s Old Green Barn home studio. It identifies Crow and guitarist Jeff Trott as producers. The opening number, Freedom Bus, features a guest vocal from Jesse Welles.
Sheryl Crow and Jeff Trott shape the new record
NPR calls Crow a Grammy-winning singer-songwriter and places Pick You Up at the centre of its Fresh Air entry. The programme also records Crow discussing her work as a backing singer for Michael Jackson and Bob Dylan’s advice on writer’s block.
Those details connect the release to both performance history and songwriting practice without shifting attention away from the album itself. The central credits stay concentrated around Crow, Trott and Welles. Crow leads the record, Trott shares production duties, and Welles contributes the named guest vocal.
Freedom Bus gives the release a named collaboration
Within the seven-track structure, Freedom Bus carries the named guest collaboration. Country.de identifies Jesse Welles as the guest on the song. The associated single is listed for streaming platforms and digital providers.
The album’s compact format is matched by a short list of clearly stated credits. Seven songs, two production names and one guest vocal define the factual outline of the release. That outline keeps the album’s identity tied to the people who made it, rather than to an expanded cast of features.
