Sex Pistols bring the 50 years of punk billing to London

The promoter’s London date details give doors at 7pm and a curfew at 11pm. The same page names Sex Pistols feat. Frank Carter as the headliner for the O2 Academy Brixton show.

The band’s December UK schedule also includes Edinburgh on 9 December, Glasgow on 10 December and London’s Eventim Apollo on 20 December. Those dates place the Brixton concert within a December run across the United Kingdom and Ireland.

Sex Pistols and Frank Carter connect punk history with 2026

The current concert team combines three original members with Carter under the Sex Pistols name. Jones, Cook and Matlock remain the members named by the promoter, while Carter joins them for the winter dates.

An account from the London Museum places the group within the city’s punk scene and traces its early development. The band’s debut album, Never Mind the Bollocks, Here’s the Sex Pistols, and songs such as Pretty Vacant remain central to its recorded catalogue.

The 18 December concert therefore links the anniversary billing with a London venue and a line-up that includes Jones, Cook and Matlock. The promoter describes the winter run as a celebration of 50 years of punk.
