Rush’s 2112 and Spirit of Radio vinyl editions
The 2 October 2026 editions give 2112 a black liquid-vinyl pressing with packaging inspired by the album artwork. Bass Magazine’s release details also describe a die-cut sleeve for the 50th-anniversary edition.
On 2 October 2026, The Spirit of Radio: Greatest Hits 1974-1987 arrived on vinyl in two configurations. One is a 16-track two-LP set on 180-gram black vinyl, while the other is a retail-exclusive 10-track one-LP edition. The 2112 pressing is a Sound of Vinyl exclusive, and uDiscover’s label details name UMe/Mercury and Anthem Records.
Rush’s progressive-rock catalogue gains two vinyl entries
The 2 October 2026 releases place a commemorative edition beside the first vinyl presentation of a greatest-hits collection. That pairing connects two different ways of revisiting Rush’s music: one focuses on a single album, while the other surveys a broad stretch of the catalogue.
The live line-up comprises co-founders Geddy Lee and Alex Lifeson, drummer Anika Nilles and keyboardist Loren Gold. Lee performs vocals and bass, Lifeson plays guitar, Nilles drums and Gold handles keyboards. Their current touring format carries the band’s progressive-rock identity into the Fifty Something Tour.
