How Alabama Vs. Tennessee arrived on 12 October
The release was credited to Nashville Harbor Records & Entertainment. BroadwayWorld’s release notice names Green, Manning and the track together.
An account from The Tuscaloosa News also places the release on 12 October 2026. The pairing gives the single a clear identity: Green represents Alabama, while Manning brings his long-standing association with Tennessee to the collaboration.
Riley Green’s country catalogue leads to the collaboration
Riley Green is an Alabama country singer-songwriter whose official Riley Green biography presents his music through storytelling and identifies Nashville Harbor Records & Entertainment as the label behind That’s Just Me. The page also records his recognition from both the Academy of Country Music and the Country Music Association.
That background places Alabama Vs. Tennessee within a catalogue built around regional character and direct, conversational songwriting. The new duet carries those qualities into a subject that is already deeply embedded in Green’s Alabama identity.
Why Alabama Vs. Tennessee links two sporting identities
Green and Manning trade lines on the track while representing opposite sides of the Alabama-Tennessee rivalry. The collaboration keeps the football setting central without turning the release into a separate broadcast or event: its core format is a country single led by two recognisable voices.
The result also broadens the usual shape of a Riley Green release. Manning is credited as the featured performer, and the song’s title makes the relationship between the two musical voices immediately clear.
