Sony Music is issuing the special format for National Album Day, linking the reissue to a restored Echoes film sequence arriving on Pink Floyd’s YouTube channel on 17 October 2026.
San Tropez Orange Marble gives Meddle a new format
The official Pink Floyd announcement describes the item as a San Tropez Orange Marble vinyl edition of Meddle, issued through Sony Music for National Album Day. The page places the release on 17 October 2026 and identifies the band as the act behind it. The official Pink Floyd announcement also lists the accompanying video presentation.
The edition centres on the album rather than a new recording, preserving the established Meddle track list. It includes One of These Days, A Pillow of Winds, Fearless, San Tropez, Seamus and Echoes, with independent release details confirming the format and label.
Pink Floyd’s sixth studio album returns in orange vinyl
The release places Pink Floyd’s catalogue in a physical format while keeping attention on one of the band’s studio records. The official announcement identifies Meddle as Pink Floyd’s sixth studio album and says its development involved recording and writing experiments carried out around touring commitments.
Echoes provides the bridge between record and screen. The track is part of the Meddle sequence and also supplies the audio for the restored film passage, giving the 17 October 2026 programme a clear connection across formats.
Echoes returns to Crystal Voyager in restored 4K
On 17 October 2026, Pink Floyd’s YouTube channel will premiere a newly restored high-resolution 4K version of the Echoes sequence from the surf film Crystal Voyager. The official announcement describes the sequence as the film’s final chapter and credits George Greenough with the footage.
The physical edition and the film presentation are separate parts of the same release-day programme. The vinyl belongs to Sony Music’s National Album Day edition, while the restored sequence appears online through Pink Floyd’s channel, with both events dated 17 October 2026.
