Phil Collins joins the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame on 14 November 2026, when the induction ceremony takes place at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles. The ceremony will be recorded at the venue before its scheduled broadcast and streaming release in December.

Phil Collins joins the 2026 Rock Hall performer class

The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Foundation lists Collins in its Performer category alongside Billy Idol, Iron Maiden, Joy Division/New Order, Oasis, Sade, Luther Vandross and Wu-Tang Clan. The category covers artists whose originality, impact and influence have changed rock and roll.

The Hall’s announcement lists the 2026 inductees and places the ceremony on Saturday, 14 November 2026, at the Peacock Theater. The venue listing gives a 7pm start and 6pm doors for the event.

Phil Collins’ solo catalogue meets the Hall’s performer category

Phil Collins’ official biography identifies him as a British singer, songwriter, drummer and producer who has worked both with Genesis and as a solo artist. That dual musical identity is reflected in a ceremony honouring his individual career while recognising the reach of his wider work.

The biography names songs including Against All Odds (Take a Look at Me Now), Sussudio, You’ll Be in My Heart and In the Air Tonight. It also describes his work across recording, songwriting and performance, placing the Rock Hall honour within a career that spans several musical roles.

Phil Collins ceremony will reach viewers in December

The 14 November 2026 event will be taped in Los Angeles before the ceremony debuts on ABC and Disney+ in December. The programme therefore combines a fixed venue date with a later broadcast and streaming presentation.

The Los Angeles setting gives the 2026 induction its physical home, while the Performer category places Phil Collins among artists from rock, pop, metal, soul and hip-hop. The ceremony’s format connects his solo recognition with a broad class of inductees rather than a separate concert appearance.
