Nine Inch Nails connect industrial rock with Boys Noize
Nine Inch Nails are an American industrial rock act centred on Trent Reznor, who founded the project in Cleveland. The band’s music combines rock instrumentation with electronic production and abrasive textures.
Britannica’s Nine Inch Nails overview places the project’s catalogue alongside releases such as Pretty Hate Machine, The Downward Spiral, The Fragile, With Teeth and Year Zero. That history gives Nine Inch Noize a clear place within an act known for moving between industrial rock, electronic sound design and studio experimentation.
