Mötley Crüe’s 30 October box set revisits Too Fast For Love
The set pairs the 1981 Leathür Records version with the 1982 Elektra version of Too Fast For Love. It also includes live recordings from the Perkins Palace performances, a five-track demo disc, a replica cassette and a replica seven-inch single.
Caesars Entertainment’s release announcement gives 30 October 2026 as the BMG release date. The band’s official box-set notice identifies the collection as a 45th anniversary edition of the debut.
The physical package contains a 100-page hardcover book, a replica press kit, a lyric book, a poster and a bumper sticker. Standard editions were issued on CD and LP, while the Leathür Records version also reached streaming services on 30 October 2026.
How the debut shaped Mötley Crüe’s hard-rock identity
AllMusic’s biographical entry places the band’s formation in Los Angeles in 1981 and describes its music through hard rock, heavy metal and glam metal.
Too Fast For Love established the combination of heavy guitar work and theatrical presentation that shaped the group’s early catalogue. The anniversary collection links that first album with recordings from the band’s first studio period and its early live performances.
The release therefore works as both an album edition and an archival package. Its two album versions preserve the contrast between the independently issued Leathür recording and the later Elektra presentation.
Mötley Crüe’s next Las Vegas residency follows the release
A separate future engagement will take Mötley Crüe to The Colosseum at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas from 19 March to 3 April 2027. The eight-show residency is titled Carnival of Sins in Sin City and follows the same anniversary campaign.
The 2027 run places the band’s archival release alongside a live production built around the Carnival of Sins name. The Las Vegas dates remain a future event, while the box set was released on 30 October 2026.
