Mötley Crüe’s anniversary set arrives through BMG
On 30 October 2026, Mötley Crüe will issue the collection through BMG. The release will pair remastered versions of the debut with rare live recordings, early demos and replica memorabilia. The band’s official announcement introduces the set and the previously unreleased demo Nobody Knows What It’s Like To Be Lonely in its official box-set announcement. Blabbermouth gives the release date, label and format details in its release details.
Standard CD and LP editions will accompany the deluxe box set on 30 October 2026. The original Leathür Records version will also reach streaming services for the first time on 30 October 2026. The anniversary packaging therefore connects the band’s earliest album with newly surfaced recordings and multiple physical editions.
Mötley Crüe revisit the record that began their catalogue
The Los Angeles group emerged from the city’s hard-rock circuit and became closely associated with glam metal. Its catalogue combines heavy guitar arrangements with theatrical presentation, while the debut remains the centre of this anniversary project. For Mötley Crüe, the set is more than a fresh pressing because it places the album alongside recordings from the band’s formative sessions. An account of the band’s origins describes that Los Angeles foundation and its place in American hard rock.
The box set expands the debut beyond a reissue
At the centre of the deluxe edition are two album configurations. One presents the Leathür Records version, while another presents the Elektra Records version. Two LPs collect live material, and another LP gathers the early studio demos. The package adds a CD, a seven-inch replica, a demo cassette replica, a 100-page hardcover book, a poster and a lyric book.
