Life Burns Faster brings paired weekends to Sphere
Life Burns Faster gives Metallica a named residency at Sphere, with paired Thursday and Saturday performances across several 2026 weekends. The band’s official residency announcement says the run now totals 24 shows.
The current Live Nation listing places the 15 October 2026 concert at Sphere in Las Vegas, with an 8.30pm local start. The official schedule pairs it with 17 October, then lists 22 and 24 October, 29 and 31 October, and 5 and 7 November 2026. The two dates form the Thursday-Saturday pairing described in the announcement.
Metallica’s M72 World Tour format shapes the residency
Metallica’s M72 World Tour established the No Repeat Weekend format, and Life Burns Faster carries it into the Sphere residency. The official announcement says the paired shows will not repeat songs, so the 15 and 17 October performances are separate setlists within one weekend.
Sphere’s technical setting is part of the event description. The Las Vegas listing mentions the venue’s high-resolution LED display, Sphere Immersive Sound and 4D effects, placing those features alongside the music programme. The listing also gives 255 Sands Avenue as the venue address.
Further Life Burns Faster dates run through November
The schedule continues beyond the selected date. Further 2026 Las Vegas performances are listed for 17, 22, 24, 29 and 31 October, followed by 5 and 7 November, all at Sphere. Metallica’s announcement says later additions brought the complete residency to 24 shows, while the official tour page lists the dates by city and venue. The run therefore combines a named residency with the band’s wider M72 World Tour framework.
