Maroon 5 take the Friday slot at Austin’s Formula 1 weekend
Maroon 5’s concert is scheduled for Friday, 23 October 2026, the opening day of the racing programme. The wider Formula 1 United States Grand Prix runs from 23 to 25 October 2026, with additional entertainment beginning on 22 October. The event page places the concert at Germania Insurance Amphitheater, on Turn 17 of the Circuit of The Americas. The Austin announcement places Maroon 5 among the headline concert acts at the Grand Prix.
The programme connects a full race weekend with three headline concerts. Maroon 5 play on Friday, Post Malone follows on Saturday 24 October 2026, and Alesso performs after the race on Sunday 25 October 2026. The Austin event listing identifies the amphitheatre as part of the track complex. The concerts sit within the event’s wider combination of racing, entertainment, fan villages and food programming.
Maroon 5 bring a Los Angeles pop-rock profile to COTA
Maroon 5’s identity is rooted in a Los Angeles band that blends pop-rock, funk and polished mainstream songwriting. The Recording Academy’s Maroon 5 biography places the group’s formation in Los Angeles. It names Adam Levine, Jesse Carmichael, Matt Flynn, Mickey Madden, PJ Morton and James Valentine. The profile also identifies Songs About Jane as the debut album and records three Grammy wins.
That combination of location, pop-rock identity and award history gives the Austin appearance a clear place within the band’s public musical profile. Here, the act’s name sits alongside Formula 1 branding, but the booking remains a Maroon 5 concert at a named venue. The confirmed details are the Friday date, the Austin setting, the amphitheatre and the Grand Prix programme.
The Austin programme runs across four days at COTA
Formula 1 weekend opens with Grand Prix View Thursday on 22 October 2026, according to the event listing. Racing and entertainment continue through Sunday 25 October 2026, with Germania Insurance Amphitheater at Turn 17 providing the concert setting.
The event listing describes a four-day format that includes concerts, racing, fan villages and access to the wider track complex. Maroon 5 therefore occupy the Friday headline position, while Post Malone and Alesso provide the later headline concerts.
