The four honours were Fan Favorite Artist, Hot Latin Songs Artist of the Year, Female, Top Latin Albums Artist of the Year, Female, and Latin Pop Song of the Year. Telemundo’s ceremony details place the event at the James L. Knight Center and state that it aired live on Telemundo and Peacock.
The song award went to Coleccionando Heridas, her collaboration with Marco Antonio Solís. The Miami result therefore linked a specific recording with honours recognising the artist across major Latin music categories.
Why the four wins fit KAROL G’s Latin sound
The Recording Academy profile describes KAROL G as a Colombian singer and songwriter whose music grew from reggaeton and Latin trap. It also places her within the wider urbano tradition, while her catalogue incorporates pop and R&B.
That combination is reflected in the award spread. Two honours recognised her as a female artist across Hot Latin Songs and Top Latin Albums, while another recognised a Latin-pop collaboration.

On 22 October 2026, Fan Favorite Artist was a new category at the Billboard Latin Music Awards, and KAROL G became its inaugural recipient after a public vote. Billboard’s winner list also records the four-award result and identifies the new category’s winner.
