Yasalam places Imagine Dragons at Etihad Park on 5 December
Ethara has announced Imagine Dragons as the headline act for the After-Race Concerts at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. The concert takes place at Etihad Park on Yas Island, with the wider race weekend centred on the Yas Marina Circuit.
The booking gives the Yasalam programme a Saturday night performance led by a band whose repertoire includes Radioactive, Demons, Believer and Thunder. The organiser lists the Abu Dhabi appearance in its official concert announcement, while The National also identifies Etihad Park and 5 December 2026 as the performance details.
The Abu Dhabi booking draws on Imagine Dragons’ hit catalogue
Imagine Dragons are a US rock band with a catalogue that has travelled across arena and stadium stages. Ethara describes their live work as powerful and connects the Abu Dhabi booking with the group’s recognised run of songs.
That combination of familiar songs and a large event setting links the band’s catalogue directly to Yasalam’s after-race format. The Abu Dhabi date is consequently a concert appearance rather than a standalone club booking, with the performance positioned within a major sporting weekend.
The After-Race Concert joins the Yasalam programme
The wider Yasalam line-up includes Lewis Capaldi and Zara Larsson, who are scheduled to begin the performances on Yas Island on 3 December 2026. Further artists are due to be announced for the programme, according to Ethara.
The National’s concert details also place the band within the four-night Yasalam programme running alongside the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.
