Gorillaz headline Corona Capital in Mexico City on 20 November 2026 at Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez. The booking places the virtual band on the festival’s opening night during a wider run of dates across Latin America.
Corona Capital gives Gorillaz the opening-night headline
Corona Capital runs from 20 to 22 November 2026 in Mexico City. Gorillaz headline the first night, Friday 20 November, at Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez, as the festival announcement states. OCESA organises the three-day event, which brings more than 60 artists to multiple stages.
Friday’s announced bill also includes Mumford & Sons, Daniel Caesar, James Blake and The Kooks. Twenty One Pilots lead Saturday, while The Strokes close the festival on Sunday. That arrangement gives Gorillaz a defined position in the weekend programme without changing the date or venue of their appearance.
The official schedule places Gorillaz between Latin American dates
The band’s official tour schedule lists the Mexico City booking under Corona Capital 2026. The date sits between Bogotá on 17 November 2026 and Lima on 23 November 2026 in the listed sequence.
Córdoba follows on 26 November, with later entries in Paraguay, Chile, Brazil, Mexico and India. The same page labels the later Bengaluru and Mumbai entries The Mountain Tour 2027, extending the named touring cycle beyond Latin America. That sequence places the festival appearance inside a run that moves from city dates to festival stages and back again.
Further Gorillaz dates follow Mexico City in November and December
After Mexico City, the official listing gives Lima on 23 November 2026 and Córdoba on 26 November 2026. Buenos Aires follows on 28 November, then Asunción on 1 December and Santiago on 4 December. São Paulo is listed for 6 December, while a further Mexico date appears in Zapopan on 9 December.
