Foreigner release the expanded Super Deluxe Edition of Head Games on 30 October 2026, extending their 50th-anniversary catalogue programme through Rhino. The set revisits the band’s third studio album with a new stereo remix, archival recordings and a Dolby Atmos presentation.
Head Games expands the anniversary release programme
Rhino has scheduled the collection for CD/Blu-ray, black vinyl and digital formats on 30 October 2026. The CD/Blu-ray edition combines the original 10-track studio album in a new stereo remix with outtakes and alternate versions.
The collection also adds a previously unreleased concert from the Head Games tour. A Blu-ray carries Dolby Atmos versions of the complete Super Deluxe audio collection and the remixed original album, as set out in Rhino’s release details. An independent release outline also lists 3CD and Blu-ray, standalone black vinyl and digital editions.
Foreigner connect Head Games with their rock catalogue
Foreigner are a rock band founded in 1976, with Mick Jones identified as the founder in the group’s official biography. Their music combines hard-rock weight with the broad reach associated with arena rock.
The anniversary package links that history to the band’s early catalogue. Head Games followed the self-titled debut and Double Vision, while the new edition expands the original album rather than presenting a new studio recording.
Trouble adds a new song to the archival set
The collection introduces Trouble, a previously unreleased track featuring guest guitar from Peter Frampton. The song will also appear on a special 7-inch single backed with Zalia.
The live recording comes from Rochester Community War Memorial in Rochester, New York. Its programme includes Cold As Ice and Feels Like the First Time, while the wider box set preserves the album sessions through alternate versions and outtakes.
