Evanescence will release The Open Door (20th Anniversary Deluxe Edition) on 6 November 2026, bringing a remastered version of the band’s second studio album to 2-LP, CD and digital formats. The Craft Recordings set adds four bonus tracks, including a previously unreleased demo of Good Enough.
The Open Door anniversary edition adds four bonus tracks
The Craft Recordings release note describes a newly remastered and expanded 20th Anniversary Deluxe Edition. It pairs the original album with four bonus tracks and sets the release for 6 November 2026.
The additions include the rarities If You Don’t Mind, Together Again and The Last Song I’m Wasting On You. A previously unreleased demo of Good Enough completes the bonus material.
An Evanescence Bandcamp listing identifies digital, vinyl and CD editions, with the complete release scheduled for 6 November 2026. The 2-LP version comes in deluxe gatefold packaging.
Evanescence’s second album widened the band’s sound
The Open Door followed Fallen as Evanescence’s second studio album. Its alternative metal foundation makes room for orchestration, electronic textures, choral arrangements and piano-led passages.
That combination gives the anniversary edition a clear musical focus beyond simple restoration. The set revisits the record’s heavier guitar work while preserving the contrast created by its quieter piano-driven songs.
The deluxe tracklist revisits rarities and a demo
The restored material maps the album’s broad range across remastered songs and previously unreleased material. Sweet Sacrifice, Call Me When You’re Sober, Lithium and Good Enough remain among the named tracks, while the rarities extend the collection beyond the original album sequence.
The Good Enough demo adds a direct comparison with the finished song. The expanded tracklist therefore connects the anniversary package with both the album’s familiar centre and its surrounding recordings.
