Eric Clapton sets out five dates for May 2027
The announcement sets out a five-show UK run for May 2027. Ultimate Classic Rock details the five dates as one Birmingham concert and four London performances.
The Birmingham concert takes place on 17 May 2027 at bp pulse LIVE. The London concerts follow on 20, 21, 23 and 24 May 2027 at Royal Albert Hall. The announced on-sale date is 16 October 2026.
Eric Clapton’s 2027 schedule links Birmingham and London
The schedule has a clear two-city shape: Birmingham receives one date, while London receives four. This places the first concert at bp pulse LIVE before the Royal Albert Hall block.
JamBase reports that the run begins in Birmingham. Its listing then places the London performances on 20, 21, 23 and 24 May 2027. The sequence gives the announcement a separate opening night and a four-date London section.
Eric Clapton returns to Royal Albert Hall in May
Four Royal Albert Hall concerts give the London part of the schedule a concentrated shape. They are spread across 20, 21, 23 and 24 May 2027, rather than being listed as five consecutive nights.
Clapton is presented in the concert listings as the guitarist leading the five-date run. The schedule’s two-city design links a single Birmingham date with four London dates, giving each venue a distinct place in the May 2027 plan.
The date pattern also separates the venues by role. bp pulse LIVE hosts the opening Birmingham performance, while Royal Albert Hall carries the London portion. The announcement identifies both the city and venue for every concert.
