Free To Love: Hot Star Remixes arrives in physical formats
The band’s official store lists the formats as a CD, a standard 12-inch vinyl edition and a special-edition vinyl package. The physical release arrived on 30 October 2026.
An RTTNews account of the release described the collection as the band’s first remix album issued on vinyl and CD. The CD and standard vinyl editions include eight-page booklets, while the special package adds two fold-out booklets.
Duran Duran’s Birmingham origins meet a dance remix
Duran Duran formed in Birmingham in 1978. The band’s official timeline traces its early development through Nick Rhodes and John Taylor, before the classic line-up took shape in 1980.
The physical remix set connects that Birmingham-founded band with a release built around dance music. It presents a new arrangement of the group’s work without being a conventional studio album.
The new editions expand a Nile Rodgers collaboration
The collection grew from Free To Love, the single featuring Nile Rodgers. Its physical editions add the band’s own Love Overture and Across the Galaxy to remixes assembled around that track.
The CD brings together the original single and remixes previously released digitally. The standard 12-inch edition contains ten original remixes plus the two Duran Duran reworks, while the special package also includes a bonus 7-inch record.
