Blumengarten join Cologne’s 11 November programme
On 11 November 2026, the Willi Ostermann Society’s programme places Blumengarten on the Heumarkt stage shortly after the traditional 11.11am countdown. The appearance belongs to the opening of Cologne’s new carnival session and sits alongside performances by established carnival acts.
The Heumarkt programme identifies the duo as a special musical guest and says they will present their music in Kölsch. The organisers have included the appearance as part of an effort to connect the traditional session opening with younger listeners.
Blumengarten bring Velbert roots to a Cologne stage
Blumengarten are a German pop duo from Velbert. Rayan Djima provides the vocals, while Samuel Eickmann works as producer and guitarist; their style combines indie, pop, house and hip-hop, as outlined in the duo’s official biography.
The catalogue includes the debut album Ich liebe dich für immer and the EP radio. The song Gut genug is also named in the Cologne announcement. At the carnival event, that pop-led repertoire is set to be presented in Kölsch rather than only in the duo’s usual concert setting.
A later Blumengarten festival date is listed in Austria
A separate booking listing places the duo at Frequency Festival at Green Park in St Pölten, Austria, on 19 August 2027. The later festival appearance is a separate date from the Cologne programme.
