Björk Orkestral reaches physical formats on 27 November
The worldwide edition follows an earlier exclusive presentation at the National Gallery of Iceland. The release announcement places the physical launch with One Little Independent on 27 November 2026.
LP, CD, Blu-ray and DVD are the announced formats. The album is credited to Björk & Hamrahlíð Choir, while no digital edition is set.
Björk connects Medúlla to a choir-led live set
The recording comes from performances at Reykjavík’s Harpa Hall and recasts music primarily associated with Medúlla through new arrangements. The ensemble includes the 50-person Hamrahlíð Choir alongside electronic elements.
Musical director Bergur Þórisson and choir founder Þorgerður Ingólfsdóttir are named in the release details. That pairing links the Medúlla material with the concert presentation in a format broader than the original exclusive edition.
The tracklist spans familiar Björk titles
The tracklist includes Show Me Forgiveness, Pleasure Is All Mine, Hidden Place, Cosmogony and New World. These songs sit alongside further arrangements from the same concert project.
The complete listing also names Sonnets / Unrealities XI, Unravel, Vertebræ by Vertebræ, Who Is It, Mouth’s Cradle and Where Is the Line.
