Björk brings Orkestral to a worldwide physical release
The official Björk store gives 27 November 2026 as the shipping date for the physical edition. The official release listing identifies the project as a live recording with the Hamrahlíð Choir.
Pitchfork’s format details name One Little Independent as the label for the worldwide edition. The album will be issued on LP, CD, Blu-ray and DVD.
Björk’s choir project reconnects electronic and vocal music
At its centre is the meeting between Björk’s electronic vocabulary and the Hamrahlíð Choir’s choral sound. Official product information says the programme draws mainly on songs from Medúlla, with the choir featured across the Harpa recordings.
Björk’s biography identifies her as an Icelandic singer-songwriter from Reykjavík. It also describes music that brings electronic and organic sounds together across pop, dance, jazz and avant-garde styles.
Björk Orkestral expands its live record across four formats
The physical edition carries the solo name alongside the choir credit, preserving the collaborative identity of the concert project. The official listing includes Show Me Forgiveness, Hidden Place, Cosmogony and New World among the recorded songs.
The release therefore links a vocal ensemble with material from Medúlla while retaining the Harpa setting. Its four listed formats are LP, CD, Blu-ray and DVD, all tied to the 27 November 2026 edition.
