Toronto ceremony will honour Bebe Rexha with Global Hitmaker
Billboard Canada’s announcement places the ceremony at Rebel in Toronto and names Bebe Rexha as its Global Hitmaker honouree. The event belongs to Billboard Canada Women in Music 2026, whose announced honourees also include Cardi B and Chxrry.
Billboard Canada describes the honour as recognition of Rexha’s work across several genres and her career as both artist and songwriter. The event is an awards celebration rather than a standalone concert, with the honour presented during the programme. Billboard Canada’s announcement sets out the date, venue and award.
Bebe Rexha’s pop and dance catalogue meets a new honour
Bebe Rexha’s catalogue crosses pop, electronic music, country, R&B, hip-hop and dance. That range is reflected in the Global Hitmaker title, which recognises her work as a singer and songwriter.
Her songwriting profile includes The Monster, while her solo and collaborative repertoire includes Hey Mama, Me Myself & I and I’m Good (Blue). An TF1 performance page records her singing New Religion at the NRJ Music Awards.
Dirty Blonde extends Bebe Rexha’s independent creative direction
Her album Dirty Blonde is a visual project made during her independent partnership with EMPIRE. Billboard Canada describes it as a full-length album spanning hip-hop, pop, electronic music, country and Jersey club.
