Bebe Rexha will receive Billboard Canada’s Global Hitmaker honour
Billboard Canada Women in Music will return to Toronto on 24 November 2026, with Rebel hosting the ceremony. Billboard Canada’s Bebe Rexha award announcement says she will accept the Global Hitmaker Award during the event.
That distinction places her among the event’s announced honourees, alongside Cardi B, Chxrry, Melissa Bubb-Clarke and Kristy Fletcher. Billboard Canada presents the award as recognition of Rexha’s work across several musical fields, rather than a genre-specific honour.
Bebe Rexha’s pop and dance catalogue frames the honour
Her public profile combines songwriting with solo performance, a balance reflected in the honour’s description. She co-wrote The Monster and supplied a featured vocal contribution to Hey Mama.
Her collaborations also include Me Myself & I, Meant to Be and I’m Good (Blue). The Billboard Canada profile places her catalogue across pop, dance, electronic, country and hip-hop.
Dirty Blonde extends Bebe Rexha’s genre range
Dirty Blonde adds a visual-album dimension to that catalogue and marks her work with independent partner EMPIRE. Billboard Canada describes it as her first full-length album as an independent artist and her first visual album.
The project moves through hip-hop, pop, electronic music, country and Jersey club, keeping the award’s broad musical frame in view. Her creative plan includes making a music video for every song on the album.
