Bad Bunny collects seven honours in Miami
The 2026 Billboard Latin Music Awards took place on 22 October at the James L. Knight Center in Miami. The ceremony was presented live on Telemundo and streamed on Peacock.
Telemundo’s winners account lists Bad Bunny’s seven categories as Artist of the Year, Tour of the Year, Global 200 Latin Artist of the Year, Hot Latin Songs Artist of the Year, Male, Top Latin Albums Artist of the Year, Male, Latin Rhythm Artist of the Year, Solo, and Songwriter of the Year. Billboard’s winners list also records the seven-award result.
Bad Bunny’s Puerto Rican música urbana shapes the result
Bad Bunny is a Puerto Rican singer and songwriter working in música urbana, a broad style that includes reggaeton and trap and can draw on rock, punk and soul. His Spanish-language work has made those sounds central to his international profile.
A biographical profile identifies a catalogue that includes X 100PRE, YHLQMDLG, El Último Tour del Mundo, Un Verano Sin Ti and Debí Tirar Más Fotos. That catalogue connects the Miami result with both his Latin urban songwriting and his album work.
The Billboard categories span tour, songs and albums
The award spread covers several parts of Bad Bunny’s career rather than a single recording. Artist of the Year recognises his overall standing, while Tour of the Year links the result to his live work.
Global 200 Latin Artist of the Year, Hot Latin Songs Artist of the Year, Male, and Top Latin Albums Artist of the Year, Male, place songs and albums alongside that touring honour. Latin Rhythm Artist of the Year, Solo and Songwriter of the Year add two further recognitions tied to his individual work.
Telemundo reported that Fuerza Regida led the ceremony with eight awards, while Bad Bunny earned seven. Karol G, Peso Pluma and Romeo Santos each received four, giving the Miami ceremony a broad Latin music field around Bad Bunny’s result.
