Montreal origins shaped Arcade Fire’s indie-rock catalogue
The Canadian Encyclopedia account places the band’s formation in Montreal in 2001. It records Funeral from 2004, Neon Bible from 2007 and The Suburbs from 2010 among the group’s early albums.
The group’s catalogue continued with Reflektor in 2013 and Everything Now in 2017. The official biography describes Arcade Fire as a Grammy-winning indie rock band and names Funeral and The Suburbs among its albums.
That history connects a Montreal-founded indie-rock catalogue with a Los Angeles programme that presents the band through a DJ set on 31 October 2026.
