THE MAZE puts Arcade Fire on a two-stage Halloween bill

KCRW’s festival listing gives a 5pm start and describes the event as an indoor-outdoor celebration across an entire city block. Its programme includes The Blaze as a live act, Claude VonStroke and Arcade Fire’s DJ set.
Arcade Fire’s indie rock identity meets a DJ set
Arcade Fire come from Montreal, Quebec, and are identified as a Canadian indie rock band. The AllMusic band profile places the group among Montreal’s indie rockers and lists its style as alternative and indie rock.
The catalogue includes Funeral, Neon Bible, The Suburbs, Reflektor, Everything Now, We and Pink Elephant. Those titles trace a path from the band’s album work to its most recent studio release, while the Los Angeles booking takes the form of a DJ set.
THE MAZE adds live electronic acts and immersive stages
THE MAZE is built as an indoor-outdoor block party with two stages, installations, roaming performers and live actors. The event’s programme combines Arcade Fire’s DJ appearance with The Blaze’s live performance and Claude VonStroke’s set.
The Arts District setting places the event in downtown Los Angeles rather than a conventional concert hall. Its format links a band appearance with an electronic and immersive programme.
