Companies are pouring resources into making new hires feel productive from day one, and that shift is creating dedicated roles like the one now open at MEDIAN Kliniken. The healthcare provider is advertising for an HR and onboarding coordinator in Düsseldorf, with a start date of 1 July 2026. Responsibilities include recruitment and managing the early phase of employment.

The move reflects a wider trend. Onboarding is no longer a simple checklist; it is a strategic differentiator in a tight labour market. Firms are pairing cloud?based tools with specialised staff to reduce turnover and speed up integration.

On the technology side, consultancies including Deloitte, KPMG, Capgemini and Cognizant are increasing their use of ServiceNow and its artificial?intelligence platform. The goal is to automate help?desk and self?service processes, cutting costs and standardising the experience. Industry analyst Jörg Hossenfelder confirms the shift.

That demand shows up in live job postings. Ulta Beauty, the US cosmetics retailer, is looking for a ServiceNow HR administrator as of early June 2026. The platform often serves as an entry point for long?term consulting assignments, designed to lock in staff from the very start.

At the same time, companies are hiring people specifically for onboarding coordination. ezCater, a US?based corporate catering firm, aims to recruit an onboarding specialist in June 2026 for a remote role. Wiese Dental Beratungs GmbH, a German dental consultancy, advertises mentor programmes and structured induction processes to attract new advisers.

International recruitment brings its own challenges. The Competence Centre for Skilled Worker Security (KOFA) pointed out in early June 2026 that foreign hires need clear communication, fixed contact persons, and help with administrative tasks such as dealing with authorities or finding housing.

Continuous learning is also becoming part of the package. Georg Schreiner of Bain & Company describes the firm’s concept of global flagship trainings for different career levels.
