Deep Drill Hits Strengthen Antimony Resources’ Bald Hill Case as Three-Rig Campaign Accelerates

Recent assays from Antimony Resources’ winter drilling programme have confirmed antimony grades as high as 26.9% at the Bald Hill project in New Brunswick, with mineralisation extending to nearly 500 metres below surface. The results, the company said on Wednesday, reinforce the deposit’s potential to support a long?life mine as it shifts from grassroots exploration toward development.
Drill hole BH-26-10 delivered the standout intercepts, intersecting two broad mineralised zones measuring 13.85 metres and 14.15 metres in length, with high?grade intervals grading 26.7% and 6.4% antimony respectively. A separate intersection returned 26.9% antimony within stibnite?bearing core. The average depth of the latest holes exceeds 250 metres, and every zone penetrated thick, continuous mineralisation that remains open in all directions.
Chief executive James Atkinson said the programme was meeting expectations, pointing to the consistent widths encountered at depths of more than 350 metres. “This points to a deep?seated, extensive deposit that is still far from being fully tested,” he noted.
Ramping up the drilling pace
Antimony Resources is now mobilising three drill rigs to accelerate the next phase of exploration. The expanded campaign will cover 13,000 metres of extension drilling in the main zone, coupled with 6,000 metres of first?pass work on three newly defined targets — the Marcus zone, BH Central and BH South. The current drill?defined main zone already stretches 600 metres along strike and remains untested at depth and laterally.
Should investors sell immediately? Or is it worth buying Antimony Resources?
Since the start of the 2025 field season in April, the company has completed more than 25,000 metres across 77 holes. The aggressive meterage reflects a deliberate strategy to move quickly from discovery to resource definition.
Path to a resource estimate
A technical report prepared last year outlined a conceptual exploration target of 2.7 million tonnes at an average antimony grade of 3% to 4%. The company is careful to stress that this is not a confirmed resource model, but it provides a geological foundation for the work ahead. The critical near?term milestone will be the conversion of these conceptual numbers into a defined mineral resource — a step that will require integrated geological modelling, metallurgical testing and gap analysis.
Complementing the drilling, management has initiated environmental baseline studies and metallurgical test work. The permit application for the Bald Hill mine is pencilled in for late 2026 or early 2027, a timeline that underscores the company’s ambition to become a major North American producer of antimony — a metal classified as critical by the United States and Canada.
Antimony Resources at a turning point? This analysis reveals what investors need to know now.
The current programme, which will continue through the second and third quarters, is designed to deliver the data needed to support that application. With three rigs turning and a clear technical roadmap, Antimony Resources is positioning Bald Hill as one of the most actively advanced antimony projects in the Western world.
