The XRP ecosystem recently received substantial fundamental support. In mid-March, U.S. regulators, the SEC and CFTC, officially classified XRP as a digital commodity, ending years of legal ambiguity. If approved by shareholders and regulators, this move would create a heavyweight entity within the crypto sector.

The project anticipates gross proceeds exceeding one billion U.S. dollars, which are slated to be directed toward purchasing XRP on the open market to bolster institutional operating capital. The initiative has already garnered support from notable industry players including Ripple, Kraken, and Pantera Capital. Its core aim is to generate sustained demand from banks and corporations. Inexperienced developers are increasingly turning to artificial intelligence to write automated payment scripts—a trend the community refers to as "Vibe Coding." Because the underlying logic of these AI-generated scripts often goes unchecked, the faulty programs set exorbitantly high transaction fees during periods of network congestion to force payments through.

This flaw recently led one user to spend over $2,000 for just four payments. A single transaction within this series cost as much as 690 XRP. This anomaly temporarily spiked the network's burn rate by more than 300 percent, highlighting the unintended consequences of relying on unverified automated code.
