Ondas Holdings Completes Strategic Acquisition of World View Enterprises

Ondas Holdings finalizes its acquisition of World View, integrating stratospheric surveillance into its platform. The firm, backed by $1.55B in cash, targets profitability by 2028 amid aggressive expansion.

Ondas Holdings has officially closed its acquisition of World View Enterprises, marking the fifth such deal in a single quarter and underscoring a remarkably aggressive expansion strategy. This move integrates stratospheric intelligence capabilities into the company's portfolio, finalizing a comprehensive platform that spans from ground level to the upper atmosphere.

Financial Health and Aggressive Growth Trajectory

The company's rapid pace of acquisitions, including BIRD Aerosystems, the formation of the European joint venture ONBERG, and the purchase of INDO Earth Moving in Q1 2026, raises questions about its integration capacity. Financially, Ondas is not yet profitable. For the full year 2025, it reported a net loss of $133.4 million, significantly impacted by a non-cash revaluation of warrants totaling $82.2 million. Its adjusted EBITDA stood at negative $31.3 million.

However, this is balanced by a substantial war chest. Following a capital raise in January 2026 that brought in approximately $960 million, Ondas holds about $1.55 billion in liquid assets. Management is targeting at least $375 million in revenue for 2026. The goal is to achieve product-level profitability by the third quarter of 2026, with overall corporate profitability expected by early 2028. Investors will gain insight into the initial integration progress and Q1 performance when the company reports its next quarterly results on May 18, 2026; the revenue target for that period is between $38 million and $40 million.

Details of the World View Deal

The transaction for World View Enterprises involved a cash payment of $7.3 million and the issuance of roughly 12.8 million shares of Ondas stock. Additional shares have been placed in escrow to account for potential purchase price adjustments. World View will now operate under the Ondas Autonomous Systems division.

The acquired firm brings considerable operational experience to the table, with a history of more than 140 completed stratospheric flights and prior collaborative projects with agencies like NASA, NOAA, and the U.S. Air Force. This proven track record grants Ondas immediate credibility in a defense sector niche that, while currently specialized, is expanding quickly.

As part of the acquisition terms, 26 newly hired employees received equity incentives in the form of Restricted Stock Units and options with an exercise price set at $9.02 per share.

The Integrated Platform Strategy

A central pillar of Ondas's strategy is the deep integration of Palantir's software. The vision is to merge this with Ondas's existing drone technology, counter-UAS systems, and robotics to create a unified, software-defined mission platform. This integrated system is designed for applications across defense, homeland security, and commercial markets.

World View's Stratollite® technology is a key component, providing persistent wide-area surveillance from the stratosphere. This capability effectively bridges the operational gap between low-altitude drones and space-based satellites.
