Nordex share price surges 189% from 2024 low, driven by robust German orders and a new Serbian project. Analysts see 12% upside to a €50 target, citing strong profitability and sector positioning.

The Nordex share price is currently trading just below its recent ten-year peak, having surged approximately 189 percent from its low point in April of last year. This sustained upward movement is being fueled by a significant stream of new orders, particularly from its domestic German market.

Robust Order Intake and Geographic Diversification

A series of substantial contracts announced in March forms the core of this rally. In Germany alone, the wind turbine manufacturer secured orders exceeding 575 megawatts (MW) for the month. Major contributions include a 280 MW order from project developer wpd, a 137 MW repowering project on the island of Fehmarn, and additional contracts from Prowind, Qualitas Energy, and community wind farms in North Rhine-Westphalia. Market demand is focused on the company's high-capacity N175/6.X and N163/5.X onshore turbine models.

Further demonstrating its geographic reach, Nordex announced an additional contract on Monday. The company will supply eleven turbines totaling 70 MW for the Jasikovo wind farm in Serbia's Carpathian Mountains. This order includes a 30-year service agreement, highlighting a strategic focus on long-term contracts that bolster the higher-margin service segment and provide predictable, recurring revenue streams.

Analyst Consensus and Forward-Looking Targets

Market analysts are aligned in their positive outlook. Both Berenberg and Jefferies maintain a fair value estimate of €50.00 per share for Nordex. With the stock closing at €44.62 yesterday, this consensus price target implies a potential upside of around twelve percent. The analysts cite the company's improving profitability trajectory and its strong positioning within the renewable energy sector as key drivers for this valuation.

Looking ahead, Nordex's management has set a group sales target ranging between €8.2 billion and €9.0 billion for 2026. Investors will gain insight into whether margin development can keep pace with the rapid order intake when the company releases its Q1 2026 quarterly statement, scheduled for April 27, 2026.
