Nexcel Mtl is accelerating the development of its Burnt Hill tungsten project in Canada. The company has initiated a new phase of exploration, marked by a sophisticated airborne geophysical survey designed to pinpoint subsurface mineral deposits with greater accuracy. This move signals a transition into more intensive work at the New Brunswick site.

Strategic Consolidation and Airborne Precision

Recent operational progress follows a period of strategic consolidation for Nexcel Mtl. The company recently increased its stake in the Burnt Hill project to 71.58% through an acquisition, solidifying its majority control and underscoring management's commitment to the asset.

To advance the project, Nexcel Mtl has commissioned specialist firm Xcalibur to conduct a high-resolution HeliTEM® survey. This helicopter-borne investigation aims to generate detailed data to identify mineralization zones beneath the surface. The Burnt Hill area is historically known for its deposits of tungsten, molybdenum, and tin.

The integration of modern aerial sensor technology with a re-evaluation of the site's historical data is a key part of the strategy. This combined approach is intended to de-risk future development steps by creating a more precise geological model.
