Despite announcing the launch of a new exploration phase for its Clay Howells West property in Ontario, shares of Medaro Mining experienced significant selling pressure on Tuesday, closing the session with a loss of 9.84 percent. The company is advancing its strategic focus on rare earth elements across two continents.

Fieldwork Set to Begin Following Data Review

The junior explorer has outlined a systematic program for its Northern Ontario project, designed to pinpoint and rank potential drill targets. The initiative will commence in April 2026 with an extensive desktop study, during which the company will analyze historical records alongside existing magnetic and radiometric survey data from the area.

Subject to favorable weather conditions, active field operations are scheduled to begin in May. The planned on-the-ground activities include:
- Conducting radiometric surveys using portable spectrometers
- Collecting geochemical soil and rock samples
- Performing detailed geological mapping of the alkaline complex

The objective of this work is to generate anomaly maps that will form the basis for subsequent drilling campaigns.

Dual-Project Strategy and Capital Position

CEO Mark Ireton emphasized the strategy of creating value in an underexplored region by integrating historical data with modern field techniques. The Ontario project complements Medaro's ongoing activities at the Bastnäs project in Sweden, which targets rare earth elements, copper, and cobalt.

Financially, the company appears equipped to fund these parallel exploration phases. A private placement completed in late February 2026 provided approximately $976,100 in proceeds. Combined with an earlier capital raise in January, the company states that financing for the current Canadian and Swedish exploration work is secured.

Market observers noted that investor reaction on Tuesday was subdued, with attention now turning to the company's transition from theoretical data analysis to practical field implementation beginning in May.
